During my first week here at St. Mark, someone came up to me and said, "Welcome home, Pastor Steve." What a wonderful way to begin, by being welcomed into the faith community as a member of the family just coming back home again. My prayer is that anyone who comes to join us for worship, or to participate in any activities or programs, or even just comes to check out what's happening in this place, will receive that same 'welcome home' feeling.
My wife Kathy is a first grade teacher in Mounds View. We raised our family in the Twin Cities having lived in nearby New Brighton for twenty-five years. Our three children are out on their own now, leaving us as empty nesters. We are excited about walking and working together with the people of St. Mark and the surrounding community as we grow in faith and share in service to God, to one another and to those in need.
Give us a call. Come and see us. Join us for worship. Welcome home!

Kay Ciccone - Director of Music and Intergenerational Ministry
Kay has been serving St. Mark in a variety of capacities for over 30 years.
I am blessed to have joined the ministry of St. Mark as Office Manager in October 2008. I am a member of Bridgewood Community Church just up Lexington. My children are Nikki, who is a 5th grader at Blue Heron, and Richard, who is a 2nd grader at Blue Heron. Nikki is one of the School Patrol leaders, and likes to be involved with opportunties to be in plays at school and church, often singing solos. Richard is 'game-crazy' at this stage of his life, and approaches everything he does with great concentration. We are busy with the new house in Lino Lakes we bought in July of 2008, and the large yard that came with it - both playing in it and taking care of it!! We are involved with the Wednesday programs at our church, and I enjoy using my gift of hospitality in the Cafe there. I hope to meet many of you over the next few months.
I have been the choir director at St. Mark since 1977. During those years I have
directed the Cherub Choir, Rejoicers, Youth Choir and Senior Choir. At the present
time I work with the Youth and Senior Choirs. I have a BA from Gustavus Adolphus
College in music education and my MA from the University of Minnesota in music
education. I teach music full time in the Centennial School District. My husband, Dale,
has been a life-long member of St. Mark and I have been a member since 1977. We have
three children: Arja (Bill) Cody, Joel and Lindsay. I love working with the choirs.
Their enthusiasm and dedication are wonderful. They work hard but still have lots
of fun. View Photo
